How bean matching works

Matching the bean to the team

Not every workplace wants the same coffee. Here's how we work out what yours should be.

We ask about your team

Do they drink mostly espresso or mostly milk-based? Strong and bold, or smooth and balanced? Any specific dislikes? Five minutes of conversation sorts most of it.

We start you on a well-matched blend

Based on the conversation, we pick a starting blend we know suits that profile. First delivery arrives with the machine on install day.

We adjust based on what you say

If the team wants something brighter, richer, or different, tell Chris and we change it on the next delivery. No fuss. Most clients settle on a favourite within the first month.

Chris supplies us with fresh coffee and a fully maintained machine, and his attention to detail is what makes it work. We serve great coffee every day in a busy retail environment, and that's because of him.

Locally roasted

Locally roasted, for good reasons

We source through Victorian roasters. That's a deliberate choice, not a marketing line.

Melbourne has one of the best coffee scenes in the world. It would be strange to run a workplace coffee business here and ship beans in from somewhere else. So we don't.

Victorian roasting means shorter transport, fresher beans in your machine, and money staying in the local industry. When a roaster is 40 kilometres away rather than 4,000, bean-to-cup time drops dramatically, and that shows up in the taste.

Our roasters source their green beans ethically, and we'll happily tell you exactly where any bean in your supply comes from if you want to know. Ask Chris on the consult.

Have a specific roaster or ethical certification you want your office coffee to hold? Tell us on the consult. If it's available through Victorian supply, we can almost always make it work.

Milk, chocolate, and the small stuff

Milk, chocolate, and everything else

Coffee is the main event, but a workplace coffee setup is more than beans.

Milk options

Full cream and skim standard. Oat, almond, and soy available on request. Some teams want all five on the go, others stick to one, whatever suits.

Hot chocolate

A good hot chocolate is surprisingly important for the quarter of your team who don't drink coffee. We supply quality drinking chocolate, not the cheap stuff.

Consumables

Cups (compostable or standard), sugar sticks, wooden stirrers, paper napkins. Restocked on every service visit. If you need something specific, ask.
